Steffen, with decades of invaluable experience in the office furniture industry, recognized the growing need for focused, quiet spaces. His son, Tim, brought a vibrant enthusiasm for technology and engineering to the table. In 2017, this synergy led to the creation of our very first prototype in a family workshop in Baden-Württemberg.
It was here that the "Trick 17" ethos – our commitment to clever, unconventional solutions – truly began to shape our approach.
Our name, Box17, captures our essence: "Box" signifies our exclusive focus on designing and manufacturing acoustic booths, while "17" draws inspiration from the German saying "Trick 17," representing those unconventional, ingenious solutions that set us apart.
From humble beginnings, Box17 has grown rapidly into a leading European manufacturer.
